This Saturday, December 10th, Naples Island will be hosting its 76th annual boat parade in which its theme will be “ Sleighs on the Bay”. Naples Island will be covered in festive decorations which promotes the spread of holiday cheer around Long Beach! The boat parade will start at 7 p.m., however local roads will begin to close at 5 p.m. Parking might be challenging to find, but will be available near Alamitos Bay Marina and Marina drive- for free.
Naples Island boat parade will showcase the lively imagination that its residents have to offer! Boat decorations will showcase, but are not limited to concepts such as The Grinch, Rudolph, The Nutcracker, Polar Express, and more! The boats participating in the parade will range in many different sizes and designs.
Naples Island in Long Beach is not only a home to many people, but also a place where many people can enjoy themselves with all the local restaurants or even walking around the little town. The boat parade will pass through the canal that runs along the homes, however those attending the event will be able to watch the parade from the bridge above the canal. The homes at Naples Island will also be decorated as they also have a competition for residents such as “Best Use of Lights” or “Best Window Display” to show their best Christmas spirit.
