REACH OUT: COMMUNITY TEST SCREENING
Please RSVP at your earliest convenience as this venue has limited capacity.
Join us for a community test screening of Bootleg Orchestra’s documentary Reach Out at KUBO LB on Sunday, Nov 5, 2 – 3:30pm in Long Beach!
Directed by John Haas, Bootleg Orchestra collaborates with Roger Rigor of VST&Company to write a song calling for international solidarity in climate justice. While the documentary shows a glimpse into their collective and creative process, the artists intend to create a space wherein community can engage in discussion and take collective organized action for climate, economic, and social justice.
At this in-person event, you can expect to:
- View the recent edit of the documentary and offer feedback
- Learn more about the No to APEC Campaign and the work of other local climate justice organizations
- Engage in discussion and meet other community members!
- Snacks and drinks
Your opinion matters, and it helps us shape the final version!
This event is made possible by the Long Beach Arts Council.
This event is hosted by Bootleg Orchestra, SIKLAB Media Arts Collective, and the Philippine-U.S. Solidarity Organization.
The documentary is sponsored by Asia Pacific Environmental Network (APEN), Long Beach Forward, and DJ That Fly Pinay. Also, a special shoutout to our community funders that supported us through the Seed and Spark platform!
Don’t miss out on this chance to be one of the first to view this documentary! We can’t wait to see you there!
