Event Details

With Long Beach’s vaccination rate at 66% for 16+ people and the rest of California slowly opening up, we feel that if participants ride safely, the Moonlight Mash can come back as a safe ride.
What: Moonlight Mash – Gender Bender Ride
When: Thursday, June 24th @ 7:45pm and roll out at 8:00pm
Where: 223 E 1st Street (Pedal Movement)
Why: Because we love riding bicycles with a big group of like-minded people!!
Ride Theme: In celebration of Pride, we are recognizing that gender is a construct and an easy way to show that is to dress for a different gender than what you normally represent. Have fun with it, but come from a place of respect.
Covid Safety: If you are eligible for a vaccine, we encourage you to consider getting yours as soon as possible. Until the vaccination rate goes above 75%, we do ask that riders wear masks whenever possible (especially inside) to halt the spread of this respiratory disease.
Please don’t wear any attire that will greatly impact your ability to ride a bicycle, but please feel free to dress up (and paint your face)!
Every ride participant is responsible for their own safety. By participating in this ride, you acknowledge that Moonlight Mash is not responsible or liable and that you ride at your own risk.
Thanks to Pedal Movement, Moonlight Mash volunteers, and riders for the monthly support!!
Please bring front and back lights and incorporate your helmet into your costume if you can.
If you would like to increase the safety of the ride, contact this group and we can train you to be a ride Marshal!
