As we pass the salt flats, we may see tiger beetles and coyote tracks while hiking up to the Heron Pointe Cultural trail.

W e recommend bringing binoculars if you have them, and the walk is great for both beginner and experienced birders.

O nce you start the walk with us you must stay for the entire time as we are walking behind locked gates in a restricted access area.
