Event Details

Join us for a (k)night full of music, food, and drinks. This is a music listening event; think book club but for music.

This event will feature the album Document by R.E.M. at Beachwood Brewing.

The Knights of the Round (Turn)Table meet to listen and discuss the great albums of our time. All genres are considered. We have an educated music-lover as our discussion leader to provide facts and stories behind the music. Every fourth Thursday of the month at various locations around the district. Discussion starts at 6:30pm.

Attendees are encouraged to order dinner next door at Patricia’s Restaurant between 5:30pm – 6:15pm or from another local Bixby Knolls restaurant.

Get your food then get your drinks at Beachwood Brewing.

Please arrive at Beachwood Brewing starting at 6:00pm to get seated at your table. Music starts promptly at 6:30pm.

The Format: Before we get started, you can fill out an index card with a memory you have of a song on the album which will be read in between songs by the host. The host will share little known details and background about the album, take questions, and introduce each song. At the end of the night, stick around to fill out another index card with a suggestion for an album in the future.

Please email the following to RSVP:

  • Your full name
  • Number of people in your party
  • Contact phone number
  • Any preference of seating (away from music, not in the back, etc.)
  • Let us know if you DO or DO NOT feel comfortable sharing a table with others

Would you or someone in your party be interested in being our Opening Act? Pick a song to share with the group and share a few notes as to why its your favorite, any special meaning or memories connected, etc. It could be any song, does not need to be by R.E.M. Let us know when you RSVP!
