SECOND ANNUAL LONG BEACH BLACK DANCE FESTIVAL

The CRayProject will be hosting the 2nd Annual Long Beach Black Dance Festival, Sunday, August 8th to Sunday August 15th in conjunction with The Ports of Long Beach and The Long Beach Playhouse. This week-long event will consist of free community dance classes, enrichment workshops, panel discussions and a weekend full of dance concerts, Friday, August 13th thru Sunday, August 15th. The festival’s theme this year is, “Black Habits: Cultivating the Culture”, exploring the values of dance, connected with those of the Black Diaspora. The festival is a continuum of celebrating Black culture, amplifying dancers of color and occupying spaces for our voices to be seen , felt and heard.
