LIGHT UP THE NIGHT

2ND & PCH welcomes visitors to celebrate the magic of the season and participate in festivities for the whole community. Kick off the holidays with the center’s 5th annual tree lighting, Light Up the Night, on Thursday, November 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This celebrated event is free and open to all.

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at 5:00 p.m. led by the Woodrow Wilson High School marching band. The lighting of a spectacular 43-ft. live White Fir Christmas tree will take place near the grand staircase. Family-friendly activities and entertainment continue throughout the evening including a performance by Hollywood-based big band jazz ensemble Phat Cat Swinger, meet and greets with special holiday characters, face painting, hair tinsel application and balloon artists.

Guests are encouraged to wear elf costumes to participate in the themed seasonal fun. The first RSVP’d guests to check in at the 2ND & PCH booth between 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. will receive a complimentary snowflake light stick.
