The Museum of Latin American Art will host a community workshop focused on sewing. Learn beginning techniques for sewing Mexican servilletas and small pouches for the table. In honor of the museum’s exhibition, Festín de Sabores, we will learn about the traditional use of the servilleta to keep delicious homemade tortillas warm and how to stitch your own colorful fabric. All materials provided. Children under the age of 10 are welcome but parents are responsible for ensuring proper use of tools.
