For folks who want an alcohol-free alternative to tinctures, this in-depth class on glycerites is just for you! Learn the chemistry and science behind glycerin-based
herbal extracts, and which herbs make effective extracts and which don’t and how to tell the
difference. You’ll finish the class with a firm understanding of the process, and with two jars of herbal glycerite (made from fresh and from dried herbs) to take home and finish.

Move beyond the apothecary standards of tinctures, oils, and teas. Herbs can be brought into use in many different, delightful, and most importantly, therapeutic ways. In this class we will explore some of the less common but highly valuable ways to work with herbs. You’ll get hands-on experience making these items, and you’ll take home the products you make in class, and comprehensive notes so that you can reproduce them easily at home.
